I absolutely LOVE Journey to Rise!! I just had my last of 4 kids..I’m 37 and want my body back!!! Makinsey possesses a level of professionalism balanced with compassion that was lacking from other nutritionists and personal trainers I have tried in the past. This honestly is one of the best things I have ever done myself. Makinsey will push you in such a positive way. I would work out at home daily, and thought I was doing everything right, until I found out I wasn’t. I’ve learned proper form is everything! She also works on correcting some structure in your body. So when I do cardio or strength exercise, I don’t feel my knees and ankles taking so much of the weight and my joints and muscles are more aligned and work better together. I definitely have felt lighter on my feet. I love that Makinsey isn’t just “someone who can show how to exercise.”(if you know what I mean) Makinsey has a degree in this and you can tell! You learn so much about your body, muscles and nutrition. She creates a plan specifically for you that shows your goals and helps you achieve them. Each week on your plan, she also focuses on mental/emotional health with a “reflection of the week”. She touches on all aspects of health when you work with her. I’d recommend this to anyone!
